Katarina Payne is a Junior 3D Artist with a foundation built on precision, technical discipline, and a passion for game-ready asset creation. She holds a diploma in Video Game Design and Animation from Toronto Film School, and brings a distinctive perspective to 3D modelling shaped by her earlier training in CNC Programming and Precision Machining at George Brown College — a background that instilled an exceptional eye for hard-surface detail and dimensional accuracy.
Katarina has applied these skills in a hands-on game development environment through Crypt Inc., a student-led project where she served as both Art Producer and Concept Lead, guiding the visual direction of the game while contributing polished, production-ready assets. Prior to transitioning into the games industry, she honed her precision craft as a CNC Machinist at KPT Precision from 2021 to 2022.
She is actively seeking a studio role where she can bring her hard-surface skills and continue growing alongside an experienced team.
